From
as far back as I can remember, I have been recognized for my knack for creating
order. When I wasn't organizing my social life, vast stretches of time during
my high school days were spent cleaning out my room, reorganizing my closet and
creating piles of clothes to be donated to charity. At the end of a long
session of de-cluttering, I was always left with a sense of accomplishment and
a lightness of being. I often had a clearer sense of how to proceed on my next
big obstacle, task or project as well.
As unusual as my teenage
behavior may have been, it was good practice for lifelong habits that have served me
well both personally and professionally. A social worker by training, I am drawn to helping others along their path to self-fulfillment. I have often taken for granted my organizational skills, but I have been lucky enough to put them to good use helping others. For years, I've assisted friends, family members and even a former
professor in clearing their clutter and tapping into a sense of clarity.
I am now taking the next step in putting my passion for order to work for others. As a Professional Organizer, my goal is to work collaboratively with my clients to identify and tackle their organizational trouble spots. Through services such as de-cluttering, time management, and implementing organization systems, we work to not only clear physical space, but also free up mental space.
